The 2016 Season
In 2016 I am hoping to be able to fish much more. My injury last February reduced by fishing to just 6 months. All being well, I hope to fish for the whole 12 months.
I have at least managed to get my rigs sorted out during 2015.
2016 will see me fishing many more matches as well. I only managed 2 last year; pretty poor really.
The two days with Günter Horler were very enjoyable and I was very impressed with his angling skills - a truly great angler. Hopefully we will be able to fish with him again during 2016, perhaps on his local venue.
In April I will be fishing with the Old Lags in the Overseas Challenge. The six-man team event is held over 6 days on the River Spui and the Voorne Canal. It's been a very long time since I fished this match, so I am looking forward to it. I need to get some Preston Heavy feeder rods for the Spui.
Roger, Theo and I will be travelling to England again in 2016. We will be there from 2 - 9 October, and are hoping to be able to fish with some more great anglers - including my old RAF team mates.
